Cancellation Policy
At Do Things That Heal, LLC, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and there may be times when you need to reschedule or cancel your therapy appointment. We strive to provide quality care and respect your time as well as that of our therapists. To ensure the smooth operation of our practice and to accommodate the needs of all our clients, we have established the following cancellation policy:
1. Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule your therapy appointment, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice for telehealth-only appointments at Gracefully Rooted and 48 hours for in-person (and telehealth if doing hybrid) appointments. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another client in need of our services.
2. Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments: Appointments that are canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice (for Telehealth only) or 48 hours notice (for in-person or hybrid) for missed appointments will be subject to a cancellation fee. This fee is the full amount of your scheduled session cost.
3. Emergency and Illness Exceptions: We understand that emergencies and unexpected illnesses can happen. If you need to cancel your appointment due to a sudden and unforeseen emergency or illness, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will work with you to reschedule your appointment without incurring a cancellation fee.
4. No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your appointment and do not provide prior notice, the full session fee will be charged. Your appointment can also be canceled if you are more than 10 minutes late at the therapist’s discretion. If you are running late, please contact your therapist and let them know to help avoid this.
5. Payment of Cancellation Fees or outstanding invoices: Cancellation fees and appointment fees will be billed to your account and must be paid before scheduling your next appointment.
6. Respecting Your Time: We value your time, and we commit to being punctual for your appointments. In the rare event that your therapist needs to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we will make every effort to provide you with as much notice as possible.
7. Contact Us: To cancel or reschedule an appointment at Gracefully Rooted, call or text 832-390-1018, or send your therapist an email. This applies to current clients only; if you are not yet a client but are interested in becoming one, please use our contact form through this website.
By scheduling an appointment with Do Things That Heal, LLC, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide the best possible care to all our clients. Gracefully Rooted Counseling and Therapy Services is a DBA of Do Things That Heal LLC.
